Our Committee

 Hi everyone let me introduce myself, I am Donna Humphrey. I joined the Pembrokeshire Pride Committee in September 2022. Since joining the committee we have grown from strength to strength, adapting to the needs of the community focusing from creating safe, welcoming spaces for all. Building on the work of the previous committee I now hold the honour of becoming Pembrokeshire Pride’s Chair in March 2024.

Pembrokeshire Pride is very close to my heart not only as a member of the LGBT community, but growing up in Pembroke, moving to London for a decade and returning to my home ground many years ago has left me with desire to support in any way I can. I am a strong, committed advocate for all members of our growing community and our allies and anyone who loves cake!. 

I have always worked in health and social care, and I am passionate about moving health care for the LGBT community forward within the county. I am proud of the committee and the exciting plans we have. So please come along to any of our events, support Pembrokeshire Pride in any way you can, and I look forward to meeting you all very soon.

 Hello my name is Sam Wilson-Croft, you may know me as the Pembrokeshire Pride’s Quiz Master! I have recently joined the committee as Secretary. I am very excited about the plans for 2024 and I am looking forward to helping bring more laughter to the community as I have been for the past year. 

Myself and my wife love meeting all the new faces that have come along and supported us at the events so far. I am on the Board of Trustees for Pembrokeshire Federation of WI's and I am their EDI rep and look forward to seeing how we can create inclusive spaces between these amazing organisations.  Hello my name is Hannah Merrett. I have joined Pembrokeshire Pride recently as Treasurer. As an active member of the LGBT community in the county, I am looking forward to bringing equality and political capital to the organisation. I believe there is a long way to go for true equality in our county but it is achievable. 

I have started looking at events such as my recent cinema meetup, where art and media lovers can come together and enjoy LGBT content. I also work for the British Red Cross. We will be bringing a fun fundraising event in partnership with Pride in 2024. Make sure you keep an eye out for more information!

 Hello my name is Adrian Mathias. I joined Pembrokeshire pride in 2023 as a volunteer and have recently joined the committee. My role is to support with social and media, I’m better known to many as ‘tech support’. Supporting the community is something I’m passionate about and using this platform to help others within the LGBT+ community is inspiring.

I hope to stay with Pembrokeshire pride for as long as I possibly can, as well as socials and media, I would like to mentor people within the community in the future as I have mental health support background. I love getting involved Pembrokeshire pride events, there’s always guaranteed laughter and just having fun. I want to help Pembrokeshire pride achieve it's goal and become as source of support within the community.
